I know i need to learn more things to be able to resolve(:|) my problems but are my PC specs not good enough ?. With timeline resolution 1920x1080 and creating optimized media (quarter resolution)Īfter caching the node before media out in fusion, i am able to play timeline in real-time but DVR is still crashing randomly when switching between tabs. I tried caching the nodes on the fusion composition or using savers/loaders and still timeline playback stutters.Īlso DVR will crash randomly and I can see around 24gb ram usage, around 5gb vram usage on 1080ti and 3.5gb shared GPU memory usage (why is shared GPU memory used) ? The moment I added a fusion composition for a simple text overlay fading in and out, the timeline isn't able to play things in real-time. With timeline resolution as 3840x2160 and few nodes on the color grading tab everything seemed to work fine. With timeline resolution 3840x2160 without creating optimized media I was trying to edit the footage from gh5s (4k 150mbps 10bit) after converting to prores 422 HQ using ffmpeg. I have always thought I have very good pc specs and 4k video editing on it shouldn't be a problem until I tried doing very basic things on Davinci resolve 16. I have a ryzen 1800x paired with 1080ti, 32gb 3000mhz ram and sata ssd for storage. I have just started learning Davinci Resolve 16.
